Amplitude = Stability

The hallux (big toe) plays a crucial role in locomotion, providing propulsion, stability, support and cushioning. During walking, it bears twice the total pressure of the other four toes. By separating the big toe, Libertas Barefoot takes advantage of the body's natural biomechanics so that it can properly develop its role as a tensor, activating the structures of the plantar fascia and supporting the plantar vault, thus contributing to body stability and fixing the main support base.
